Nine young Dominican musicians will represent their country in musical events around the world, supported by JM Dominican Republic.
The violinist Leonardo Mercado will take part in the Orquesta Juvenil de las Américas, and will go on a tour with them in the U.S and Canada. “ When I was told about it I reacted like it was a miracle from God” said Mercado.
Tenor Samuel Calderon, has been working on his voice and studying English to participate in the World Youth Choir tour of Belgium, France, Germany and The Netherlands. He expects to learn a lot from the conductors and the other participants. “ My advise to all the young musicians is that they keep on improving their talent”.
