This year, 188 singers from 44 countries applied/auditioned for the World Youth Choir Session 2012 (80 sopranos, 30 altos, 36 tenors and 42 baritones/basses). After a rigourous selection process, 33 singers were selected (7 sopranos, 8 altos, 10 tenors and 8 baritone/basses) and 33 reserve singers were chosen as well by an international jury. The singers selected this year will join the 28 re-invited singers of the choir’s session 2010, for an unforgettable social and artistic life time experience in Cyprus, Greece and Turkey in summer 2012.
