Winners of the Best Violinist of 2010 Announced

JM Canada and the Montreal International Musical Competition (MIMC) are proud to announce the finalists of the international search for the best violinist of 2010.
FIRST PRIZE ($30,000): Benjamin BEILMAN, United States
SECOND PRIZE ($15,000): Korbinian ALTENBERGER, Germany
THIRD PRIZE ($10,000): Nikita BORISOGLEBSKY, Russia
The three violinists performed at the Winners’ Gala Concert on June 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Place des Arts under the direction of Jean-Philippe Tremblay and the Orchestre Métropolitain. To relive the highlights of the concert, visit www.radio-canada.ca/musique
